Tankard & Tun is now open!

Pike Brewing is bringing beer and food lovers an expanded experience in Seattle’s Shrine to Beer. Tankard & Tun is open now; a NW seafood centric restaurant, oyster bar and brew deck adjoining an expanded fermentation cellar. Tankard & Tun hones in on our decades of passion for pairing handcrafted beers with locally sourced and flavorful foods. The name is a toast to the timeless drinking tankard and Pike’s mash tun brewing vessel which is in full display from the restaurant and adjacent brew deck.

Stoup Brewing 2nd Anniversary

This came in from Stoup Brewing:

SEATTLE, October 16, 2015 – On
Saturday, October 24th Stoup will celebrate two years of craft brewing in the heart of Ballard’s Brewery District.

Doors open at noon and will feature new releases, including: a Munich Style Helles and the return of Export Stout (#WHISKERSOUT, in homage to the MOvember fundraiser for men’s health).

But wait! There’s more for beer geeks and sour enthusiasts alike.  In keeping with their more literal beer-naming tradition, Stoup will also tap Sour Nos. 2 AND 3.

Hungry revelers can count on a curbside feast from the near east, courtesy of Fez on Wheels followed by sweet treats from Balleywood Creamery.  Festivities will ramp up with live music in the taproom – stay tuned to Stoup’s Facebook, Twitter & Instagram feeds for the foot tappin’ and booty shakin’ lineup.

Direct from Founder and Head Brewer, Brad Benson, “These past two years have been pretty amazing.  It only makes sense for us to celebrate with everyone that has helped us grow so quickly.”  “Heck yeah!” added Brewer, and Co-Owner, Robyn Schumacher.  “It’s been a lot of hard work.  It is definitely time for a party.”

Brad, Robyn and Lara Zahaba (beer lover and third in the Stoup triumvirate), will be at the brewery all day on the 24th to welcome and thank all the supportive hopheads.

Opened in October of 2013, Stoup Brewing communicates a respect for both the art and science of beer by cultivating a warm and communal environment – a place for friends to gather and for enthusiasts to chat with the brewers over a well-fashioned, delicious beer.

Stoup Brewing is located at 1108 NW 52nd Street - Seattle, WA 98107 and is open 3-9pm Tuesday through Thursday, 3–10pm on Friday; 12-10pm on Saturday and Sunday from12-9pm. Happy Hour is Tuesday through Friday from 3-5pm. For more information, visit www.stoupbrewing.com, or call 206.457.5524.
