Billed as "Seattle's Original Brewpub" (opened in 1988) in a old brick building across from the University of Washington. Shares ownership with Triple Rock brewpub in Berkeley, CA.

Big northwest-style beer hall, lots on tap, good pub eats. Parking's a pain here, but there's also good public transport access.

Serving Pioneer Square area for more than a decade with good beer selection and good pub food.

Actually just north of downtown in the South Lake Union (Cascade) district, this sister to the Prost! bars follows a similar pattern: all-German beer selection, with booze and food, but here, the food comes from a full kitchen.

Sandwich shop with tasty sandwiches and excellent beer selection on tap. More accurately located in Eastlake than Capitol Hill, but close enough.
